Call for Organized Sessions
IEEE GCCE 2026 welcomes your proposals of Organized Sessions (OS). Please submit your OS via OS application form. Submission deadline is March 9, 2026.
An Organized Session (OS) is expected to focus on a timely, emerging, or cross-disciplinary topic within the broad field of Consumer Electronics, and to attract a coherent set of high-quality presentations.
【OS Proposal Guideline】
Please note the following guidelines when proposing an OS:Scope and Expected Scale
An OS is expected to attract a sufficient number of accepted papers to form a dedicated session.
In principle, it is expected that an OS will result in six (6) or more accepted oral presentations, corresponding to one 2-hour session.
This number is indicative and not guaranteed, as final acceptance depends on the peer-review results and overall program balance.
OS Chair and Co-Chair Eligibility
The OS Chair and Co-Chair are expected to be established researchers actively contributing to and leading the proposed research field.
Students are not eligible to serve as OS Chair or Co-Chair.
Reviewer Recommendation
Given the specialized nature of OS topics, the OS Chair and Co-Chair may serve as reviewers for the OS submissions, except for their own papers. They are also expected to recommend at least two (2) additional qualified reviewers in the proposed area.
Review and Approval of OS Proposals
All proposed OSs will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee (TPC), taking into account thematic relevance, potential overlap with other proposals, and compliance with these guidelines.
The TPC will decide whether each proposal is accepted as an OS.
Responsibilities After OS Acceptance
For an accepted OS, the OS Chair and Co-Chair are expected to take responsibility for coordinating the peer-review process and managing the review progress, in close cooperation with the TPC.
Final Decision on Paper Acceptance
Even for papers submitted to an OS, the final decision on acceptance or rejection will be made by the Technical Program Chair, based on the overall review results and the conference program structure.
