Excellent Awards
GCCE 2026 will present Excellent Awards to outstanding papers, evaluated on both the paper and its presentation.
Award Categories and Selection
Awards are selected based on the review results, together with an overall evaluation of the paper and its presentation at the conference.
- Excellent Paper Award (oral presentations): selected by the Award Co-Chairs.
- Excellent Student Paper Award (oral presentations by students): selected by the Award Co-Chairs.
- Excellent Poster Award (poster presentations): selected by the Technical Program Chairs.
- Excellent Student Poster Award (poster presentations by students): selected by the Technical Program Chairs.
- Excellent Demo! Award (Demo! presentations): selected by the Technical Program Chairs, with particular emphasis on the attractiveness of the demonstration and the clarity of the on-site demonstration.
- Excellent Student Demo! Award (Demo! presentations by students): selected by the Technical Program Chairs, with particular emphasis on the attractiveness of the demonstration and the clarity of the on-site demonstration. This award may be presented only when there are a sufficient number of Demo! presentations.
Students are also eligible for all Excellent Awards. The Student Paper, Student Poster, and Student Demo! Awards are also offered to particularly encourage students.
In addition, WIE (Women in Engineering) Paper, Poster, and Demo! Awards may be presented, if applicable.
Award Winners
TBD. All Excellent Award winners will be officially announced at the banquet, where they will be presented with a certificate.
