Instructions for Accepted Authors
(Final Manuscript Submission: From 12, August to 31, August)
| IMPORTANT | Accepted papers that satisfy all the following requirements by the deadline (Final Manuscript Submission Deadline: 31, August, 2026) will be eligible for presentation at GCCE 2026 and publication in the Proceedings.
- Final Camera-ready Manuscript (validated by PDF eXpress, Conference ID: 70022X) has been submitted.
- IEEE Copyright Form has been submitted.
- At least one of the authors (
preferably the presenter ) has completed the payment of the corresponding registration fee.
The Program Committee will verify registration status and authorship based on the submitted final manuscripts and paper configuration on EDAS. The conference program and proceedings will be generated based on the information registered in EDAS. Please ensure that all author names and affiliations are accurately entered in English. The organizing committee is unable to make any changes on behalf of the authors.
Final Camera-ready Manuscript
Authors have two options regarding the final manuscripts. The template can be found on the IEEE website and is the same for both formats.
- Final Camera-ready Manuscript (up to 5 pages)
- Final Digest Paper (limited to 2 pages)
If you submit a 5-page manuscript, it may become more difficult to publish in an IEEE Journal in the future due to a high similarity score.
If you plan to submit a full paper to the Transactions on Consumer Electronics or any Associated Journals, we recommend keeping the page length of this final manuscript to a minimum.
Attention: Note that acceptance to the conference does not guarantee acceptance to the Transactions. Your Transaction Paper (full-length) should be directly submitted to IEEE.
Attention for Publication
If you are afraid of whether your PDF software is IEEE-compatible, you can use PDF eXpress to make your PDF file.
All accepted and presented papers, including Orals, Posters, and Demo!s, will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
Please note that IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.
IEEE Copyright Form
The authors need to submit the IEEE Copyright Form (eCF) via EDAS.
Call for Papers for the GCCE Special Issue of IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics (TCE)
We encourage you to further develop the research results you submitted to IEEE GCCE 2026 and submit them to a special issue of the related journal, "IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics (TCE)".
The submission deadline for this special issue is scheduled for January 2027. We will provide further details regarding the schedule and submission procedures at a later date.
In addition, the GCCE Evaluation Committee plans to issue recommendations to the IEEE TCE special issue for outstanding papers submitted to IEEE GCCE 2026. Authors who receive these recommendations will have the right to submit their papers to this IEEE TCE special issue. Please note that this recommendation is intended to encourage submission to the special issue and does not guarantee acceptance of the paper, even if a recommendation is received. Acceptance or rejection will be determined through the standard peer-review process.
When submitting your paper, please review the IEEE TCE Author Guidelines and pay particular attention to the following points:
- The Similarity Index of the manuscript must be 30% or less, excluding references and author biographies. If you are submitting a paper based on a conference paper from IEEE GCCE 2026, please ensure that you add sufficient novelty and advancement, and clearly highlight the differences from the conference paper. For example, consider summarizing the final GCCE manuscript concisely into approximately two pages as one way to clearly distinguish the journal submission from the conference paper. Please check the similarity index before submission and, if necessary, consider revising the text or expanding the content.
- At least one author must be registered with ORCID to submit a manuscript.
- Please clearly state the relevance of your manuscript to the fields of Consumer Technologies or Consumer Electronics. If the relevance is insufficient, your submission may be rejected (Administrative Rejection) prior to peer review.
- Please use the IEEE-specified template and review the latest author guidelines before submitting.
Author's Registration: From 12, August to 31, August
When completing your registration, you will get a confirmation e-mail automatically sent from the on-line registration system, and you can find your Registration Number. (e**) in the e-mail entitled "2026 IEEE 15th Global Conference on Consumer Electronics (GCCE 2026) Registration(New Reservation)". Please be sure to input the Inquiry No. into the Personal Notes in EDAS.
Additional Paper Fee
This is only for the accepted authors who make at least one registration.
If you are the author of two or more accepted papers, you can register the additional one paper by selecting this option.
Please note the following;
- Only one additional paper can be registered per paid registration.
- This additional fee DOES NOT include any participation expenses for one person.
- This additional fee is available by the Early-bird deadline.
In other words, if a single author submits 3 papers, the first and third papers require one registration fees, while the second paper requires an additional paper fee.
