GCCE 2026 will provide the necessary documents for a Short-Term Stay Visa application only to participants who have completed registration and payment, and plan to attend the GCCE in person.

These documents will be issued by GCCE 2026 as the conference organizers, for the sole purpose of participating in the conference.

A handling fee will be charged to you for issuing the visa support documents.

To request VISA-related documents, the participant must:

  1. Be an author of the accepted papers or a session chair at GCCE 2026.
  2. Have completed the registration and payment for GCCE 2026.
  3. Plan to attend the conference in person.
  4. Understand that GCCE 2026 organizers will not provide any financial support for travel, accommodation, or any expenses related to visa acquisition or conference participation.

Short-term stays refer to temporary visits for such purposes as sightseeing; sports; convalescence; visits to relatives, friends, or acquaintances; amateur participation in athletic meetings or other contests; business trips; investigative trips; participation in trainings and conferences or other such similar activities.

Important: Requesting Documents for a Temporary Visitor VISA Application

This year, the Nippon Travel Agency Co. Ltd., NTA, will support to prepare the materials.

For those attendees who need an invitation letter and the other documents from the conference organizers for the VISA application, please contact the NTA AFTER your registration fee has been paid.

Subject:“Request for VISA supporting documents [eXXX: Full Name]”
Replace XXX with your Registration Number starting with “e” and Full Name, as shown in the email titled "2026 IEEE 15th Global Conference on Consumer Electronics (GCCE2026) Registration (New Reservation)" automatically sent by the registration system.

Information to be included in the Email Body

Attachment (Required):

Certificate of school enrollment or certificate of employment written in English. This certificate must include your nationality, full name, date of birth, and job title.

Visa Support Information Form

Once we have confirmed your eligibility, the NTA will send you the “Visa Support Information Form” by email. Kindly complete the form and return it to mt_gakkai@nta.co.jp.

Delivery of the Visa Supporting Documents

The visa supporting documents will be sent to you as email attachments. As stated on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, Company/personal seal on Letter of Guarantee and Letter of Invitation is no longer required.

If you still require postal delivery, we can arrange it upon request. Please note that shipping and handling fees will be at your expense.
